This lemon essential oil has a clean, fresh, sharp and light top note with a slightly sweet tinge and is sourced from Sicily. Lemon is a fantastic essential oil that blends well with most essential oils, and is popular for its health benefits as well as for its refreshing smell.
One of the key benefits of lemon is its effect on the immune system - its microbial qualities are very useful for treating the symptoms of colds, flu, bronchitis and asthma. It is often referred to as having immune stimulating properties as it stimulates the production of white blood cells to fight off invading bacteria.
There is a theory that its mild detoxifying properties can help with cellulite.
Due to Lemon's astringent properties it helps counteract the overproduction of sebum which would make it very beneficial to oily/teenage skin. It is also useful for treating acne, warts and verrucae. (for this purpose its best to apply undiluted - perhaps combined with a drop of tea-tree oil).
From a psychological perspective Lemon is helpful for mental fatigue and confusion. It helps clear the mind very effectively and helps with decision making without over-stimulating the mind.

Packaging: Unless a gift box has been requested, all items will be sent out in Freya Natural Therapy Drawstring bag, and securely wrapped with cardboard padding and sealed in a cardboard mail box.
