METHOD OF EXTRACTION:  Expressed from the peel of the nearly ripe fruit

AROMA CHARACTERISTICS: A delicate and sweet top note with a slightly warming bottom note

ODOUR INTENSITY: Low to Medium

CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS:  Geraniol (Alcohol), Citral, Citronella (Aldehydes), Methyl anthranilate (Ester), Limonene (Terpene).

BLENDS WELL WITH: Most oils - especially citrus and florals.  e.g.  Bergamot, Roman Chamomile, Clary Sage, Geranium, Jasmine, Lemon, Lemongrass, Mandarin, Orange, Patchouli, Pine, Rosemary, Sandalwood, Thyme.

SAFETY INFORMATION:  Lavender is generally considered as non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising .  As it is an emmenagogue, it is best avoided during the early stages of pregnancy.
