This uplifting citrus oil has a pleasant fresh, green aroma with citrus undertones. It is expressed from the semi-ripe peel of the fruit of limes cultivated in Peru. It is considered a lymphatic stimulant so may be used for the treatment of water retention and cellulite.
Its a very refreshing oil and uplifting so ideal for fatigue and a tired mind especially when there is apathy. Its astringent qualities counteract overproduction of sebum making it very useful to treat oily skin and its antibacterial property is useful for treating acne.
Its antimicrobial properties make it a useful oil to include in treating throat infections and flu. Its a tonic for the digestive system (like most citrus oils) so it is recommended for digestive problems.
